For decades, the home built by reclusive artist, Paul Squire, stood empty on a windswept cliff overlooking the ocean. Those who attempted to live in the home soon fled in terror. Jennifer Barrett knows nothing of the history of the house she inherited. All she knows is that she's glad for the chance to make a new life for herself.

It's Paul Squire's duty to rid his home of intruders, but something about this latest newcomer's vulnerable status...and resemblance to someone from his past...dulls his resolve. Jennifer would like to find a real flesh-and-blood man to liven her days and nights--someone to share her life with—but living in the artist's house, studying his paintings, she is surprised at how close she feels to him.

A compelling, prickly ghost with a tortured, guilt-ridden past, and a lonely heroine determined to start fresh find themselves in a battle of wills and emotion in this story of love, time, and chance.

[This story was previously published under the pseudonym JoMarie Lodge.]

The movie industry has glamorized the abilities of technically talented people. From Mission Impossible to The Matrix, we are impressed at what the human mind can accomplish with the assistance of a computer.

This book doesn’t underestimate gifted hacker groups, but it does raise the question of how much ammo we giving them to launch their attack. The human mind can devise ways to think outside of the constructs of the box even when provided with the smallest details.

Even though computers are an important tool, successful hacking doesn’t just begin with advanced technical abilities. Sometimes it requires more rudimentary techniques, such as the investigative abilities that you may find in a 1940’s gumshoe. Personality goes a long way.

A successful social engineer requires a little bit of charm, persuasiveness and listening abilities to get the information that they need. If you’ve lost money recently, chances are, a con man in his pajamas could be the culprit rather than a stereotypical hacker in a carefully concealed computer lab.

There’s no reason to hide when the information for a preliminary attack is out there. After all, why hide in a bunker when the target (me and you) tells them everything they need to get started?...

Do ghosts fall in love? Jemma Haley is about to find out.... Love In The Wrong Dimension is a modern romantic ghost story.

Jemma is a trendy young woman enjoying her twenties and partying hard in London's fashionable Camden Town.

One hung-over morning, she makes a pact with her best friend Alice, setting off a train of events that will ultimately lead to her destiny.

After an untimely accident she wakes and realises her life has changed for ever - she is a ghost...

Terrified, she goes to find Alice in the hope that, using her psychic abilities, her friend can tell her what to do next. Instead of making contact with Alice though, Jemma meets Tom, an attractive but elusive ghost, who tells her that she's trapped in a dimension for ghosts who weren't meant to die.

She vows to find a way out, but is torn when she develops feelings for Tom, whose own reasons for being there are darker than she could ever have imagined.

The story is moving, mysterious and romantic and will keep you guessing until the last page.

Might eternal love be possible after all?

ABOUT CREEPY:
The Creepy series is a one of a kind combination of true supernatural occurances, mixed with a variety of supernatural short stories. Creepy contains The Rumblin' and Murdoch's Eyes. Best of all, Creepy includes some of the author's real life supernatural experiences... absolutely true ghost stories.

"I was around ten years old when I had my first supernatural experience. Thirty years later, my ghosts have returned and they are creepier than ever. I've seen full-bodied apparations, felt a dark presence practically breathing down my neck, and everyday I work with a ghost who seems more curious than anything." ~ Jeff Bennington

The following true stories are all inside CREEPY:

The Shadow Man
The Ghost Named Earl
Someone in the Basement

These ghostly experiences have influenced my writing and allowed me to truly capture the essence of fear and suspense that you'll discover in my fiction. If you enjoy creepy tales from Stephen King, you'll love my heart pounding, short stories too.
