"There is no pain in this death, only peace, knowing I am going to die with the one I love the most." -- Katriona Wilde

Katriona Wilde has never wondered what it would feel like to have everything she's ever known and loved ripped away, but she is about to find out. When she inadvertently leads her sister and best friend through a portal into a world she's dreamed of for six years, she finds herself faced with more than just the frightening creatures in front of her. She's forced to accept a new truth: her entire life has been a lie, and those closest to her have betrayed her. What's worse, she has no control over her new future, and it's full of magic and horrors from which nightmares are made.

Will she discover and learn to control who she really is in time to save the ones she loves, or will all be lost?

Wilde's Fire is the thrilling first instalment of debut author Krystal Wade's urban fantasy Darkness Falls trilogy, already exciting critics with its intensity and immersive, unique world and concept.

December 1930: The United States is in the middle of a Great Depression and nowhere have the hard times hit more severe than remote, rural Tater Knob, Alabama. Trapper, hunter and small farmer I. A. "Buck" Rivers is riding out the hard times as a backwoods bachelor living a simple life, much as he did before the depression hit. Buck was more than pleased that December day when he got an unexpected letter from his best friend J.C. "Wart" McGee. Wart had suddenly disappeared a year and a half previously, without notice, to ride out the hard times as a train jumping hobo.

As Buck and his new pen pal exchange letters, Buck learns about the exciting life Wart is living as the new owner of a remote roadhouse in far-away Alaska Territory and Wart is learning what is going on in his beloved Tater Knob. In fact, because of the letters from Buck, Wart is becoming homesick for the life, and lady, he left behind.

Written with warmth and humor as a series of letters, the "comings and goings" of these two backwoods bachelors make this little novel a fun read. It is written as they, with their 8th grade one-room schoolhouse education, would have written it. What they lacked in polished English and "book learning" they more than make up for in woodsmanship and their lust for the outdoor life and humorous adventures. The reader quickly becomes part of the nostalgic world of these two interesting characters and the cast of characters they associate with in their adventures. Buck & Wart - Backcountry Letters is one of those little fun-to-read books that you will want to keep by your easy chair for when you want to escape to a more simple time in life.

The Mary Celeste Papers is a mystery novel with laugh-out-load consequences, which bubble up and explode out of the grit and grime of a dead-end railway depot in England.

Follow the fates of a group of ultra ordinary railwaymen as one of them happens across a mysterious ship’s log and thereafter falls victim to a major crime. Scooped up by a tide of events way beyond their control, the unlikely band of heroes become the focus of a full-blown, worldwide, media whirlwind and all the while unanswered questions are piling up around them.

Paul Gallimore’s first mystery novel is a hugely original fusion of ideas, where raw humour transmutes into whodunit, and science fiction blurs with cold fact. What is it that this delightful assortment of misfits has accidentally dragged out into the open? Did the US Navy really conduct a top secret experiment into invisibility in 1943? Just what did happen to the Mary Celeste? And will the truth finally lie somewhere in the ocean between Fulham and Philadelphia?

The Mary Celeste Papers is an intelligent, well written, thought provoking funny book; filled to the brim with fully-formed, larger than life characters whose fortunes will grab your attention and hold it in a vice-like grip until the final page has been turned. The Mary Celeste Papers is a people book; about little guys on a big stage and you absolutely deserve to read it.

Acute food shortages and lawlessness plague communist-occupied Seoul at the start of the Korean War in 1950. Jimin, a sixteen-year-old boy, aches to return to the safety of his old home on Ockdo (Jade Island), a remote island he'd left five years earlier. But only his father, who is absent from home, knows the way.

His adversary, a man who's been plotting to wipe out Jimin's family and steal their island, brings a tragedy and tries to eliminate him, forcing him to traverse the war-torn country on foot with his seven-year-old sister to find his father. But the war sweeps across the country multiple times and hinders them from meeting up with their father.

Back in Seoul, with Chinese troops (who invade the country to prop up the communists) bearing down on them, Jimin is forced to join the army, leaving his sister alone, hungry, and homeless in the cold, bomb-devastated city. During a long march, Jimin succumbs to hunger and fatigue and is left to die at a roadside house. He is rescued by a girl he loves, but the war, his adversary, and personal misfortunes continue to thwart his goal of returning to his island with his girl, father, and sister. He miraculously survives a massacre and an epidemic of relapsing fever and undergoes other gut-wrenching trials. He finally stumbles on his father, who is very ill with tuberculosis, and he must overcome formidable obstacles to return to Ockdo.

With action and suspense, Tendrils of Life is a rich and intriguing upmarket novel, interwoven with gripping character-oriented narratives and full of visual detail. It's a story of love and hope, greed and revenge, and the quest for survival in the turmoil of war - a depiction of resilience of the human spirit.

That spell was wrong!

When three young witches, Electra, Cassandra, and Medea, decided to practice witchcraft, they had no idea what consequences the wrong spell would have. Specters that lurk in the town, a ghost house in the middle of the dark forest, and an old witch with an eerie wail are their minor problems.

Meanwhile, sixteen-year-old Eric O'Brian is sent to live in a small town named Hollow as a punishment for his constant truancy and bad behavior. Shortly he finds out that the beautiful town full of colorful ravines, green highlands, and dense forests is not an ordinary one: flowers that whisper, a strange Old Curiosity Shop that steals the time, and a hanged man coming to life on the Halloween night lead him to believe that Hollow is a mystical place inhabited by witches.

After meeting the mysterious red-haired girls and befriending them, Eric becomes a part of the world with time travels, medieval bards, flying brooms, and paintings with parallel reality.

Soon a murder happens in Hollow, and Eric and his friends have to find out the truth about the murder before the town's vengeful Sheriff accuses the witches in the crime and starts another witch hunt.

A bonus for the poetry lovers: "Witch Hollow" series are full of beautiful poetry.

For readers age 12 and up.

It was only a wish

Connor Sullivan was painfully average. The very highlight of his existence was going to school, doing homework, and playing video games. He thought nothing
would ever change that. Unfortunately, homework usually screws everything up.

A cut, some blood, and a hastily scrawled promise to sell his soul for his fondest wish...and all hell breaks loose. Literally.

The Demons take him up on his offer.

In a last ditch effort to keep his soul, he wishes to become one of the demons, or Fallen as they call themselves. Connor thought he had found a solution
to his problem. He never fully understood the meaning of the phrase, "From the frying pan into the fire," until his wish was granted. The biggest catch?
Never ever fall in love with a human...

And then she walked into his school. Beautiful, red-haired, funny...and blind. Connor's heart didn't stand a chance. Neither did the Fallen's rules.
He had saved his soul, but could he find happiness without hurting the girl he loved? Or would secrets Jessica didn't even know she had destroy them all?

One of the best "Vampire Books" you will ever read!
Especially if you are surrounded by negative thinking or negative people...
After being around certain people do you ever find youself feeling:
  • Emotionally exhausted
  • Drained
  • Tired or wanting to take a nap?
If so, then this is a good book for you!
Who exactly do energy vampires and negative people affect?

Simple ... Everybody!

So what is an energy vampire? You've probably heard the term "energy vampires" before, especially if you're at all interested in psychic ability or psychic development. But what exactly are energy vampires? They're not real vampires. Well, I guess they're real vampires, but not like the ones you see in Twilight ... "Energy vampires" feed upon your energy. In other words, their primary target is your spiritual body, not your physical body.

"Energy vampires" are people who constantly draw upon other people's energy in order to help "recharge" their own system.
